GENERAL INFORMATION
Arduino LilyPad platform is designed to be used as part of clothing. It can be sewn into the fabric with built-in power supply, sensor and actuator wiring. The platform is built on a microcontroller ATmega168V (low-power version with ATmega168) (technical data) or ATmega328V (technical data). Arduino LilyPad was created by Leah Buechley and SparkFun Electronics.
Programming
Platform programmed with Arduino software version 0010 or higher. However, it is possible to record a program earlier software version Arduino, but some functions are not available.
Microcontrollers and ATmega168V ATmega328V come with recorded loader facilitating entry of new programs via software Arduino .. You can not use the bootloader and program the ATmega conclusions through ICSP (in-circuit programming). Detailed information can be found in this manual.
Food
Arduino LilyPad can be powered via the USB connection or an external power supply.
External supply voltage should be between 2.7 and 5.5 V. The voltage can be supplied via the inverter AC / DC (power supply unit) or battery. Never connect a voltage greater than 5.5 V, or change its poles, it can damage the platform.
