TCS34725 Color Sensor RGB
Color sensor with IR filter
General information:
This miniature sensor will allow your electronics to literally distinguish the colors of surrounding objects, not just light and dark shades. You will be able to access the values of such parameters as color temperature (Kelvin), illumination (in lux), as well as the immediate values of the red, green and blue components. IR-filter allows you to achieve more accurate color reproduction, blocking the infrared part of the spectrum invisible to the human eye. This module is based on the TCS34725 chip and communicates with Arduino via a two-wire I2C interface. The board additionally includes: a LED with neutral white light, a voltage regulator in the power circuit and an I2C 3.3 / 5V level converter.
Connection:
The module is connected to Arduino via the I2C interface (SDA and SCL terminals). Power is supplied to the GND and VIN terminals (3.3 to 5V). The LED output serves to control the LED. You can either not use it at all (connect to the ground), or monitor it via the Arduino digital output, or connect it to the INT pin and monitor it using the appropriate functions from the library.
